Our legal status and regulatory strategy
We think an organization asking for a change in national drug policy should be legible about its own governance. Israelis for Ibogaine operates as an Amuta — a non-profit association registered with the Israeli Ministry of Justice — under the Hebrew name סנה איבוגה (ע”ר) and the English name IBOGA BUSH (R.A.), registration number 580841922. We hold a board-approved conflict-of-interest policy and whistleblower policy, and we do not currently accept public donations through this website. This page sets out that legal footing and the three regulatory pathways we are pursuing.
